A feasibility study is a market survey assessing your overall readiness for an upcoming capital campaign, endowment campaign, or major gifts fund raising effort. We gather the facts and perceptions from community leaders, donors and key prospects, and then bring this information quantitatively and qualitatively to the leadership of the campaign. Specifically, we can:
• Provide an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses in fund raising and public relations.
• Give an assessment of your campaign readiness.
• Suggest attainable goals for your capital campaign efforts.
• Test the validity and acceptability of your case for support in the marketplace.
• Help identify potential lead and other significant donors as well as volunteers who can provide leadership in the campaign and beyond.
• Give an assessment of your image within the community.
• Make recommendations for timing and strategy that will be useful in campaign planning.
• Assist in developing your campaign plan.
Feasibility studies typically include thirty to sixty in-person interviews and sometimes will also use focus groups and/or mail questionnaires to make the data more complete and more revealing of the situation.
"Philanthropy Solutions, Inc. is very knowledgeable about the fundraising field. Their excellent work with the MML Foundation resulted in a successful campaign that raised over $1.3 million dollars. They were attentive to our needs and quickly came to understand the organization, its mission and its case for support."
