




What are the Ethical Principles with which

The ethical principles and standards by which we practice
are derived from the Asssociation of Fundraising Professionals as follows:
Philanthropy Solutions,
LLC. is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. AFP
has a Code
of Ethics for Fund Raisers and a set of Standards of Practice, to
which Philanthropy Solutions, LLC. subscribes and which we practice in
our work with charitable organizations.
This Code of Ethics is
presented here for the benefit of those who wish to view it. It
is our way of allowing ourselves to be held accountable to our peers in
the fund raising profession, and to the public charities we serve.
Members of the Association
of Fundraising Professionals aspire to...
1. Practice their profession
with integrity, honesty, truthfulness and adherence to the absolute obligation
to safeguard the public trust.
2. Act according to the highest standards
and visions of their organization, profession and conscience.

Put
philanthropic mission above personal gain. Inspire others through
their own sense of dedication and high purpose.
4.
Improve their professional
knowledge and skills, so that their performance will better serve
others.
5.
Demonstrate concern for the interests and well-being of
individuals affected by their actions.
6.
Value the privacy, freedom
of choice and interests of all those affected by their actions.
7.
Foster cultural diversity and pluralistic values, and treat all
people with dignity and respect.
8.
Affirm, through personal giving,
a commitment to philanthropy and its role in society.
9.
Adhere to
the spirit as well as the letter of all applicable laws and regulations.
10.
Advocate within their organizations, adherence to all applicable
laws and regulations.
11.
Avoid even the appearance of any criminal
offense or professional misconduct.
12.
Bring credit to the fundraising profession by their public demeanor.
13.
Encourage colleagues to embrace and practice these ethical principles
and standards of professional practice.
14.
Be aware of the codes of ethics promulgated by
other professional organizations that serve philanthropy.
